The heartbeat behind Still Standing, Still Faithfully
Jaelynn was the kind of child who left an imprint on every heart she touched.
She was fearless. Strong. Bright. Her joy radiated. Her laughter was contagious. And even in the middle of the hardest fight imaginable, she smiled with the kind of light that only comes from heaven.
On April 30, 2022, Jaelynn was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was just 9 years old at the time, and from day one, she faced every moment with incredible courage. There was no fear in her—only faith, strength, and love. She reminded all of us what it meant to be brave.
For one sacred year, we walked alongside her in the valley—hoping, praying, and holding on to every precious moment. On May 2, 2023, Jaelynn went to be with the Lord at the age of 10.
She is missed beyond words. But her legacy lives on in every act of kindness, in every family The Ohana Foundation supports, and in every word written on this blog. She is the heartbeat behind all of it.
Still Standing, Still Faithfully exists because of her.
Because her life deserves to be remembered.
Because her love still leads us.
Because her light never left.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
We will keep walking. We will keep standing. We will keep faithfully trusting God—just like Jaelynn did.
